Can the fly be rolled up, staked up with short poles, or lifted in some way without removing the whole thing when it's a warm day (and no threat of rain)?

I'm sure something could be worked out, although it would take a bit of effort as there is nothing automatically built in. Also, as this is a 4-season tent, the vents are few and pretty high on the tent. As a result, rolling up the fly a little wouldn't have quite the same effect as on other tents. In really hot weather with little chance of rain, it's probably worth taking the fly off the whole way.
