Yes. I'm an avid hiker and have been a camp counselor for 3 years. I own three Nalgenes and highly recommend them. Definitely dishwasher safe, but if you are putting some kind of mix in it like powdered Gatorade you'll want to take a brush to the threading on the lid. Does a great job of not tasting like your previous drink and is virtually impervious to drops, kicks, and falls.It's best if you wash them in the top rack.
