The windwall 2 is going to be the warmer of the two, as it similar in weight to something like a 200 weight fleece, where the Bionic is softshell that has a farily light fleece lining (backer). The main advantage to the Bionic is going to be weather resistance - it is going to perform better if you run into wet weather as it has a DWR exterior treatment as well as a laminate behind the softshell that will also contribute to it being a better outerwear piece if it gets stormy.
