Will the Primus Classic Trail Stove burn on the Coleman Propane tanks? or does it need a special type?

It will not burn the large green propane tanks as it is a compact stove. It needs the smaller propane/butane canisters. My suggestion is to spend a little more money and get a nicer stove. That is what I did. I purchased this stove my first time around & then upgraded to the Brunton Raptor as it is much smaller, lighter and has Piezo electric start. Should have saved my money and bought the Raptor to begin with. Spending a little more money is worth it as this is not a budget buster like some tents, packs etc.This stove can use all the Lindal valve (screw-on) fuel canisters.
