Please check into your answer here. I just bought both this jacket (black/black) and the matching black khumbu fleece from Backcountry this month. It zips perfectly. I wouldn't want you to lose sales!

No, this is not zip-in compatible. It is a rain jacket, you could probably layer under it. The zip-in jackets are usually in the "ski coat" category.
