Are the seams sealed on this jacket?
How does this compare to Arcteryx Venta AR in terms of warmth? I'm trying to decide between the two.
Also, if just wearing a T-shirt, are the pit zippers uncomfortable to the armpits? (i remember reading this somewhere)

The seams are not sealed on this jacket, and that is going to be one of the main differences between this and the Venta AR. This warmth factor on these will be comparable to the Venta. I cant say regarding the pit zips as I have not worn either of these peices.
