I'm going on a clam dig/beach foraging trip in the beginning of May on the Oregon coast. Have been told to wear something that can get wet and will protect my legs in case of falls. Would these be a decent option? I want something lightweight and form fitting that won't hold wetness.

If you're looking for a tight fit look elsewhere... I am an athletic shaped girl, but these still hang off my thighs. They are tight around the calves however; which looks kind of akward unless you are wearing snowpants or something on top.
