Is the quality any better then the old Goat crew. I have found that my 2 crews are getting holes in them only after 1 year.

these new merino shirts are made of a better merino wool. 17.5 micron which is softer. quality is great. durability may not be better, but the softness and feel of the merino is better. for more durability and off width climbing, try the Breathe tech tee, a more durable polyester yarn.

I'm going to find out..just got one on SAC. You know the bc.com ones and the stoic ones have a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer (BC/stoic)..why not chat them up if you really feel they went fast. They are thin but mine have held up well so far -- did they wear thin where pack-straps are or what?
