I have the Rain Shadow in black that is about 5 years old and still looks like new. I realize black is about as far from white as you can get, but because of the type of material the jacket is made of i would expect it to resist dirt very well. Dirt won't penetrate the H2N0 membrane like it would a cloth fabric so you should be just fine.
