How does this jacket compare to the microchill jacket, also by MHW? I am looking for a packable jacket to take with me on a trip to Europe (Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany) through all of September. I have a MHW Cohesion jacket (waterproof shell) that I'm taking, so I'm just looking for something for chilly mornings or in the Swiss highlands. I'm thinking either this, the Microchill (jacket or pullover,) or a TNF TKA 100 1/4 zip. I am just packing a few merino shirts, no long sleeves and the average temps will be 50-ish to high 70s (F).

John. The Offwidth Jacket is a fairly lightweight and stretchy air permeable softshell Jacket. The MircoChill Jacket is a 100wt. fleece jacket. The Offwidth is a great outer layer for mildly chilly days on its own and will keep a little weather off as it is water resistant. When layered with a MicroChill Jacket the Offwidth would work well for even colder temps. Hope this info helps!
