I am going on a trip to East Europe in a week where we will be doing a lot of walking tours; plus I like to camp in Houston in late Fall and late Winter. Would I be better with Patagonia Capilene 2 or the Capilene 1 long underwear to wear under my clothes?

Barabara, Tough to go wrong with either the Capilene 1 or Capilene 2 for how you plan on using them. Both are lightweight and super versatile, with just the right amount of warmth for a lightweight long underwear piece. Capilene 2 might be a touch warmer, and Capilene 1 is a silkier and smoother fabric.
