Arc'teryx Rampart Pant - Men's
I can't make sense of the coffee bean color. On the Arc'teryx...

I can't make sense of the coffee bean color. On the Arc'teryx site, there are three very different pictures associated with the coffee bean color. One is pure brown, one is a green, and on is in-between. I am hoping these are close to the Boy Scout pant color.

these are my scout pants. a litle dark, but my troop still counts them as "class a"

Probably too late to help you, but I do wear the Rampart pant as part of a Scout leader unifrom, it's a little dark but close enough in our troop. I used these pants on a five day backpack in the Sierras this summer, sitting on rocks, rock scrambling and walking through brush with just a really small pin hole in the seat. I've worn them often since thne- great pants, love the pockets. They are baggy enough around the ankles that you can roll them up to cool off.

Brown under inside light, brownish-green under outside light. Definitely not a pure brown.

Actually the photo above is not proprietary as it is the exact same one currently on the Arc'Teryx web site. I have a pair in coffee bean and I have to respectfully disagree: they are very much like a forest green and not so much brown to the point that I feel a little park service-ish in them.

The coffee bean color is well presented on the backcountry pictures. We have a photo studio in house that takes all pictures in house for the precise reason mentioned above. It is definitely an straight brown and not greenish cheers
