I am in powder country. Grand Targhee Ski Resort... Any way I have never skied powder. Groomer for 40 years.I am a intermidiate skier. I am 57 years old. 6 foot 205lbs I was told to buy the 174 K2 Darkside 156/128/144 .. I ski a 169 Atomic crismon nomad.. I have trouble turning on rented skies that are 180 pluss sizes in the powder with fat skies. is this ski ok ? your opinum please..

Ronnie skis that have a rocker tip ski much shorter than a normal ski like the nomad. The k2 darkside 174 will ski closer to a 169 or 170. Pull the trigger and start skiing powder you have been missing it long enough.
