Where is the best place to mount the camera on a helmet(smith vibrim) I mount it on the side on my goggled and the camera pics up the brim on the side.

I also attach it to the goggle strap, you can pin it back so it doesn't catch your brim. But this puts the field of view of the camera on the outside edge of your field of view, sort of defeating the purpose of videoing what you are doing...i have the same helmet and have been experimenting with it a bit the past month or so now and i really don't mind the goggle in the view, i think it adds to it a bit. The Vent Mount is something i am gonna look into...thanks

Hi Mike, You've got a few options for mounting your ContourHD on your Variant Brim other than the goggle strap mount. Since the Variant Brim has so many vents, I like using the ContourHD Vented Helmet Mount (to find it search VHR0006). You can use it to mount on top of your helmet, just turn the lens 90 degrees so it frames your vid properly.
