I'm 6'2" and weigh 190. The medium was a snug fit in the chest, but the arm length was about right, if a hair short. The large was baggy all over (even with a couple of layers) and the arms were about 2-3" too long. I'd actually suggest finding a place that has both in stock and actually trying them on. It's an oddly sized jacket.

I'm 5'11" and 192. The medium fits me well with base layer and puffy down sweater. Unless you need more insulation than that, you will be fine with a Medium. The Large (I tried it on) starts getting really baggy.

I am 5'10 and 165 and the medium version of last year's Stinger jacket was plenty big on me. Even with a heavy base layer and a down sweater on there was plenty of room in the jacket. Personally, unless they've changed the cut I'd say go with the medium.
