Yeah, I have pretty high arches, and these are one of the few pairs of hikers that have the high arch support - no other support needed with these.

Not bad, probably on the higher end. I usually wear a custom insole with arch support for running shoes, however have found that these shoes provide enough that I haven't yet needed to change out the insoles that come with the shoe. All in all, even if you are worried about arch support, I would say buy these anyway and get an insole, because these shoes, especially with the goretex, are amazing.
