I'm not the most knowledgeable guy when it comes to gear, new to it all, but i can provide my experiences. I recently bought this pack on SteepandCheap. Anxious to try it out, I filled it with a fleece, some food, camelbak bladder, and enough to fill it for a afternoon of cross-country skiing. It proved way more comfortable than expected. It rain/drizzled the entire 4 hours outside and nothing got wet. To me it seams durable enough, but I have no experience really, so can't recognize all the little extras. I see it's currently listed at $70 here on backcountry and would recommend it for that price. Very excited to keep using this pack!
