you cant judge by your height its to do with the proportions of your body.if you get a ski pole hold it upside with the hilt [the circular piece on the bottom of the pole] resting on top of your thumb an index finger grip here and stand straight,maintain your grip while also placing the handle of the pole on the ground making the pole stand upright, the pole that is the correct size for you will make an angle of 90 degrees between your upper arm an lower arm
