Could I ski with these? I have a pair of these and I love them, but I would hate to break them because they aren't made for skiing (ie not meant for pole plants at high speeds).

You would also want different baskets that were wider so it prevented the poles from punching through the snow.

Greg, The anti-shock system in this pole would probably not make for a great skiing experience, where you want a little more substance when you plant for a turn. hope this helps
