Rumor has it you can ride NTN boots with the bishop bindings. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I'm pretty sure I saw a guy riding this boot in the bishops and thought it would definitely be another plus to buying NTN boots

NO! The Bishop will accommodate the NTN, snap in, and hold, until you flex the boot too far forward. The Bishop was designed specifically to be used with 75mm boots, and use the duck bill to lock in and provide some forward resistance. An NTN boot would not press down against the toe block of the Bishop, causing the boot to slide back and out of the toe bail. The duck bill toe is crucial to the correct function and reliability of the Bishop binding. You'll come across articles on teletips and such that show NTN and Bishop combos, but they all tell that when applied to the slopes and in turns, they pop right off. So, no, there is no added bonus of the NTN boots being compatible with other tele bindings.
