I just bought a pair of Afterbangs, and I'm not really sure what to do when mounting them to make sure the wood doesn't split. I've heard a few things regarding wood glue, but I want to make sure they're done right. Can anyone help me out?

p.s.- I have the access to the proper mounting bit and the jig to do so.
