I am 5 feet tall (or short!) and am looking for a carrier for my now 16 mo old daughter for hikes and general activities (she's DONE with her stroller these days!) Has anyone my height used these carriers? If so, could you tell me about your experience with them? I;ve tried on a few (non-Kelty) brands in the stores, but they all seem too long for me. Any advice/comments are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm 5'2" and found the Deuter carriers to be more comfortable than the Kelty carriers, which really surprised me because I love my Kelty Redwing backpack. My baby is currently 20lbs and 11mos old.

The Kelty TC series is a good choice for shorter people. The waist belt adjusts up and down to accomodate a torso range from 11" to 16". The Kelty FC series accomodates a torso range of 15" to 18".
