Can you by just the lift it and what does it cost? Does that shim screw to the ski and then the binding screws into it, or does it just use the binding hole pattern/template with just a longer screw. Also the wider brakes. Can you get the wider ones to put on an older type Pivot heel?
Thanks for any info

To answer your first question, the lift kit isn't sold separately. Second answer: the shims don't attach to the ski, they are held down by the binding baseplate and the mounting screws. Third answer: unfortunately, Rossignol is no longer distributing the Pivot baseplate/brake assembly by itself. They will replace the baseplate/brake mechanism on the new FKS heels, but only if you send the whole heel in to the service center. If you have an older Pivot binding, you're out of luck because of the 2-year warranty. It's a sore point with many; sorry to bear bad news.
