I wear a large in just about everything. I also wear a large in this. Enough room for a mid-layer if I need. The most I wear under this is an icebreaker bodyfit 260. And that is for the coldest of days on the mountain.

David, This jacket is going to be more of a normal to loose fit. It is more geared towards skiing/snowboarding then climbing. hope this helps
