I'm looking to wear this in Ireland, where it's constantly rainy and probably a bit cold. Will this jacket suffice or should I look for something thicker? What would you recommend?

Hi Elizabeth- This jacket will certain take care of keeping you dry - however, it is a lightweight travel rain piece, and you will still need to layer under it to keep warm. Hope this helps
