Do these boots run large or small? I wear a size 13 shoe and wonder if I should go with the 29.5, 30.5 or 31.

That helps. I had Lange boots prior and they made my feet go to sleep every time I wore them. My current boots are Salomon X Screams and they fit well but the liner is getting packed out after way too many years in them. It is either these Lange's or the Salomon Impact 10's.

I would start with the 30.5 - the boot is a bit wider than tradditional Lange sizing but they certainly don't run large. It really depends on the shape of your foot as to what size will end up working out for you but if you have an average to wide forefoot, this would be a good choice.
