Rab stuff is designed in the UK and tested internationally, but mostly made in china, just like 90% of other great gear

The majority of Rab's products, including technical shells, are manufactured overseas, typically China. Their down items in the Expedition range are manufactured in the UK. It is also in the UK where their sleeping shells and bags are hand-filled. This is a quality eVent 3L shell, often these are made in China, production of such an item can only be done there. I'm not sure what this answer means to you, but this is an awesome jacket regardless of where it's made.
