Ok, 2 weeks ago on a trip to Jackson Hole I got a pair of these mounted with dukes and the ski shop mounted them off center on both skis. The front of the bindings are dead center, the back of the binding is off center by about 1.5mm on both skis. Doesn't look like much, but I have an engineering mindset and that 1.5mm is pissing me off! Is it worth trying to have them re mounted or should I ignor it and just go ski them.

I hear marker messed up the instructions for these, and my shop mounted them 1.5cm to far forward as well. I am going to get them remounted.

I would take them to the shop and talk to them. If you're not happy with their mounting, they should compensate you, either by re-mounting them free of charge, or refunding you the mounting fee, so that you can have the skis warrantied/replaced, orhave a more reputable shop do better. Let them know, because their jig could be off center, in which case they could potentially be mounting everyone else's skis off center, too. I know the feeling of a tiny little thing like that bothering you. You want to have 100% confidence in your equipment. While 1.5 mm is a very small measurement, there's no reason you should have to compromise your brand new, expensive skis and bindings due to the error of the shop tech. If it was done by a reputable shop, your skis should be warrantied, and you can take care of replacing them through the shop. Don't take 'no' for an answer. The customer may not always be right, but (s)he's never wrong! If you're not happy, the bottom line is that someone is responsible, and they owe you. It's not the end of the world. See if the shop will give you a demo pair to use while they are taking care of the problem. If they're rude to you, politely explain to them that you aren't satisfied, and would be happy to talk to the manager if they're too busy. I'm sure it will all work out for you. Happy turns, and good luck!
