My GF is looking for a 2nd ski to add to her quiver. She is 5'2, 120. She skis at moderate speeds and aggression. She wants a ski for pure powder and tracked-out powder/crud, as she already has a pir of Head Monster 78 midfats (153cm). She tried the Rossi BC110 166cm. and loved it, but it is pretty pricey, so we thought the S3 168cm might be an alternative. Does anyone know:
a: Is the rocker profile the same between the S7/BC110 and the S3?
b: Is the flex profile about the same between the S7 and S3?
c: Given that it already has rockered tips and tails, would the narrower S3 provide adequate float for her on the really deep days? I'm thinking at her size, 115 underfoot with the S7 would be overkill anyway?
d: anyone have any idea why this ski is priced so much lower than the S7 if it is actually very similar , just narrower? Construction perhaps different/skimpier?
Thanks in advance!
