So I tried this pack on at a local mountaineering store and it felt very "stiff." Namely in the shoulder strap regions. The guy helping me out said his was the same way but after a season it broke in a bit and feels much more flexible.
Just wondering/curious about other's personal experience and opinion(s) on the matter.
Thanks in advance

yes and no. the straps break in, your friend at the local store is not a liar. that one strap has a hydration hose in it though and that will always be the stiffer of the two shoulder straps. count on it. it's still the best backcountry pack around for under 100 bucks. money is for lift tickets.
