Patagonia R1 Fleece Pullover - Men's

I'm pretty confused about what size to get. I'm 5'9"...

I'm pretty confused about what size to get. I'm 5'9" 160lbs - smallish build. A Patagonia capilene 4 zip neck large fits me great - but an r4 jacket sized large is a little big. The reviewers here and at patagonia.com give spotty information. Can anyone help?

I am 5'9" and 170. A medium fits well...not too tight.

I think you'll be good in a medium R1 Pullover, large would be ok, but might be a little loose.
