Any reviews on the external ipod control? Does it work really well? even in cold, wet weather?

I have logged 6 or 7 days in this jacket and love the ipod control. It is the only one that I know of that uses a small joystick type of deal instead of buttons that are typically hard to use with gloves. Up and down controls volume, forward and back controls tracks, and pushing the joystick in pauses the ipod. Really happy with the usability, and no problems with the cold. I have been out in low teens, but probably not too much colder than than that, although I don't think this would have any effect on the interface - it is the battery on your ipod that you have to worry about.
