Hi guys,do any of you know the story with the fabric change on the base camp duffel? I have been trying to find out. It was switched in 2008 . I have read it was neo k 1800 something then phalate free then PVC tarpaulin and TPE fabric laminate with PVC tarpaulin material . Is the new fabric just as good? What's the story? Thanks

it's still PVC, now it's just phthalate-free PVC.

Sooooo.... anybody know what the fabric actually is? I was to the understanding that is was PVC free - one major reason for my choice. I love this bag A LOT and now have 3 - and may get one more size as well so now I really need to know.

fabric's just as good - TNF wanted it to be 'greener'. Costs 10 bucks more, though.
