I have the RC36 lens and use them exclusively. They work well in bright light, flat light, shadows in the trees. It's very good all around. Especially for days where the lighting changes through out the day.

p.s. both lenses that you asked about are meant for bright flat lighting conditions.. However i keep in the ignitor unless it's really dim.

Here is Smith's Description of Both lenses and the Sensor.. I personally am a fan of the ignitor lens, i find that the rc36's rose base tint tends to distort colors and will make bright days even brighter while it appears to me that I have less fatigue in the ignitor due to the less intense purple-ish color base which brings out the depth in flatter lighting conditions. For the really dim days (dark and overcast and typically snowing hard) i prefer the Sensor Mirror. Just my 2 cents. :-) RC36 - VLT 36% The universal lens tint. Combines rose and copper base tints. Provides the absolute best vision in most conditions. Increases depth perception and cuts glare in all conditions. Ignitor Mirror - VLT 35% Proprietary new universal lens tint designed to reduce eye fatigue while enhancing contrast and depth perception in all conditions. A versatile lens tint designed to be used all season long. Sensor Mirror - VLT 70% Light rose base lens tint with a multi-layer mirror maximizes color definition and increases depth perception in varying levels of flat light conditions.
