Marker Jester vs. STH 16? I am strong skier who usually has the DIN around 10. I ski all over the mountain in all conditions. Which is the better choice and which is more lightweight? Also, besides the DIN range, are there any big differences between Jesters and Griffons?

If you run your DIN only up to 10, there is no need to pay the extra cash for the 16 DIN bindings, which also tend to be heavier than lower DIN bindings. I would recomend the Griffon, which is a bit lighter (1900gr vs 2100gr) than the STH12 and the STH14 (2050gr). Besides the weight I recomend Marker because I've always had issues with salomon's toe pieces; they either break or the wings need to be constantly readjusted. If you do a lot of switch riding and landings go with the Griffons, if not, you can always find Salomon's Z12Ti from last year which is not only really light (1700gr), but also less than 200$! cheers
