I wouldn't push your luck on it, even if it has mild DWR (I'm not totally sure because I'm not going to risk finding out!) you're talking about a down coat created primarily for layering. I do wear mine all the time in cold dry conditions, but if you get down wet you're sunk. So keep it dry and bring a shell if you think you're going to get dumped on or lay about in the snow for a while.

It is water resistant to some extent, ie. OK in light rain or snow. But not more than that. Its definitely not waterproof.
