1. will the fabric shrink after time
2. i compared the photo on your site (which appeared somewhat dark purple) with that on keenfootwear.com (which appeared to be a lighter navy blue with a touch of purple), if you can compare and tell me which photo is more accurate

I've owned my Keen Newport H2s for about 2 years now and have gotten them wet and dried them out many times. 1. I haven't noticed any shrinkage, but I buy my shoes a little bit loose. (These run small). The lace system takes up plenty of slack if you buy a bit big.2. I've compared the Navy colored Newport H2s on this web page with the picture at http://www.keenfootwear.com/product_detail.aspx?sku=510230 and with my own older pair of Newport H2s. I think the backcountry.com image is more accurate. But my shoes are a couple of years old so maybe Keen has brightened up the blue. Not a definitive answer, but my 2 cents.
