I normally wear a small in most MHW clothing. But I wear a medium in the Monkey Man jacket. Is this cut anything like the Monkey Man? I'm about 5'8'' and 140 lbs.

This lightweight layer fits a little more snug than most down coats as it is meant to be worn either as a mid-layer or an outerlayer. If you are deciding between two sizes... depending on how you want to wear it will help to decide the size. Hope this helps!

Down jackets are made to be big. They are built to be worn over many layers. A small should be appropriate, but check the size chart to make sure the sleeves won't be too short.
