Hi guys just got this boot for Christmas and so far it is an incredible boot. My question is; it came with four "L" shaped antimicrobial inserts and a picture showing them in the boot along the sides of the heel. Do these get used while wearing the boot or when they not in use?

They get used while wearing the boot... but only should you need additional ankle heel hold. If you are not getting any ankle slip then you don't need them right off the bat. However, you may want to put them somewhere for later. As the boots break in over a couple seasons you may find yourself wanting to drop them in at a later point to tighten up the ankle. make sense?
