How do these compare to both the Salomon Shoguns and the K2 Obsetheds?...

How do these compare to both the Salomon Shoguns and the K2 Obsetheds? I know that they will all perform well in powder because of the early rise and width. But which one of the three will do best in bumps and groomers as well as the deep stuff?

If you 6'2" or more and what to ski the Goat you need a 196. Because of the reverse camber you need to go a little longer then you would think. This comment was directed to Noah.

I'd go with the Goats over the Obsethed's. Both are good in soft snow but once you start railing on the way back to the lift theres a good bit of tip chatter in the Obsethed's. If you like a stiffer ski you can push definitely go with the goats.

I own Mantra's and Obsethed's and think the Obsethed's in bumps are awesome for the width of the skis. The soft shovels allow you to nose them into anything without being thrown off balance. Mantra's are easier and quicker, but also stiffer. Im 38 and hammer bumps till my knees hurt and the Obsetheds slay everything very well. Incredible edge hold on firm snow also. I ski them more than my Mantra's. The buttery feel is dead on, absorbs any kind of busted up ice crud like nothing else. Mantra's are just more jarring with the metal in them. Want to try the new Goats as well. Shoguns seem heavier than K2's which is not good for my knees.

The Goat Mamas are Stiff. The ObSethed is a more round flex. I haven't skied the Shoguns, but from what I hear they favor powder more than the chunder. I'd go with the Goats if you like responsive, unforgiving skis, and like to go fast in variable conditions and don't skip a beat between. The Obsethed is more forgiving and flexible. It also feels slightly damper and butterier (?) than the Gotama. Either ski is going to be good for whatever, but it's dependent on your style. If you have an option to demo, it'd probably be a good idea. Sorry I don't have any experience with the Shoguns. I do know that they aren't a full twin tip, so if you are into skiing and landing switch, these aren't the best choice.
