Why would anyone ever spend $800 on a pack? You could buy several of different sizes and uses for the same amount, if not less.

Seriously not trying to be a gear snob but $800 for anything made by Kelty is ridiculous. Get a top of the line Osprey for half that....or a Gregory...or hire a Sherpa for a trip. Like someone else suggested, it does resemble a garbage bag, albeit with "nice" embroidery.

Hey...it is only about half the price of McHale dyneema pack and pretty much does the same job with flying colors(well white anyways :)

IT looks like a kitchen trash sack in the pictures at least most backpacks look good when they are full. Overpriced garbage sack

LMAO. How could anyone think that a single pack could be worth $800?? Packs are typically overpriced to begin with but this is NUTS!!
