Is this product appropriate if the Chariot is being towed behind a bicycle? How old should a baby be before being towed behind a bicycle?

Actually, the typical recommendation is 1 year for a bicycle trailer. Remember, they have to not only be able to support their head, but also a helmet....under possibly jarring conditions.

Yes, it is appropriate for attaching to a bicycle. Generally I would recommend the child be about 6 months old before towing, just to be safe, but it depends on the physical development of each child and this is a decision best left up to the parent.
