Just wondering if this jacket would be suitable for a climb up Mt Kinabalu? I am after something wind resistant that will keep out the cold. Can anyone recommend a decent jacket that doesn't cost a fortune?

Hey I actually spent a month living on top of Mt Kinabalu last april. I think the The North Face Swift Hybrid Jacket would be a good jacket if you are planning on a fast climb and descent in good conditions. In general though I would recommend the a waterproof lightwieght shell like the Venture or Triumph and a TKA underlayer so you are more prepared for the afternoon torrential rain storms. Hope this helps!
