Honestly, how well will these ski on the groomers. Will the edge make contact or is there too much rocker.

I ski the Czar (also has a rockered tip). And you don't notice the rocker on groomers. However, you can't hold as long of a turn if you are someone who likes big GS turns on the groom.

as soon as you keep an edge to edge movement on groomers, you don't even feel the rocker shape on the front, but when you go in the deep, they are crazy easy. A true one ski quiver for groomers, powder, crusted snow...

no, the rocker helps for the deep stuff but they still have enough of an edge to cut on the groomers.. those skis are sick.

Thanks for asking that question because its an important point with this ski. the Shogun has a small amount of rocker, so as soon as you put the ski on edge the entire ski (minus actual tip and twin tip of course) makes contact with the snow. so you actually don't notice the rocker on groomers. the only thing that you really notice on groomers is that the tip doesn't initiate the turn as quickly as a traditional skis would.
