The Welder Hi uses a supple high pile/loft fleece as both insulation and lining. The Welder Insulated gets its insulating ability from 100g of synthetic (polyester micofiber) insulation and is lined with a buttery soft nylon taffeta material. The Welder Insulated would provide more insulation (warmth). Hard to match the furry goodness of the Welder Hi's lining, though. Can't go wrong with either choice.
