i recently picked up the MHW Dragon softshell. I am wondering if this will make a good fit over the Phantom. I want to use it to protect the Phantom from any stray embers while sitting around the campfire lol. I currently own the millet belay device jacket and it is a little too big to go under the Dragon.

Thanks for the suggestion. While chatting w/ a gear guru on BC I changed my mind and purchased the MHW compressor for my mid layer. If this does not work I may return it and try your combination Cheers!

Jimmy. I've used the Phantom Jacket under my Dragon Jacket and been happy on the coldest days. But, if you are gonna be hanging around a fire... might I suggest a Carhart Jacket as your outer layer? This combo of Phantom and Carhart works well as well! It's my Indian Creek fire suit! Cheers!
