Here is my question -- last night I posed this question in response to my "request for return" confirmatory email which I received from backcountry.com. However, that might not have been the best place to ask these questions. The topic is merino wool long underwear bottoms for women.
I have ordered, and am keeping, a pair of women's Ibex Woolies bottoms. I am returning, though, the pairs of Icebreaker light weight merino wool bottoms -- nothing wrong with them, but the Woolies simply are better for my purposes. What I cannot decide is whether I should keep the Smart Wool midweight merino wool bottoms (@ 250 g/m 2) -- which I love despite the fact that the crotch is not gusseted and which are twice as warm as the Ibex Woolies -- or (a)choose a similar type of bottom made by Minus 33 (which is perhaps the only sports clothing brand which backcountry does not carry -- why is this) at 230 g/m 2 and at $47.50 (w/S&H) OR (b) choose the Ibex long janes -- how warm are they in g/m 2?
