I've been deciding between this jacket and The North Face Plasma Thermal Jacket. Which would be warmer, or would they be the same? The weather around my area is 0 to 20 degrees.

I've owned both, and eventually sold my plasma thermal. It was a nice jacket, pretty much a shell and insulation in one. However, I prefer using the redpoint with a separate shell for more versatility (get a good shell and the combination will be much lighter than the plasma also). They were both warm, but I think the redpoint may be warmer...and the redpoint's hood is what really got me to keep it! I wear it almost every day, it's great from temps in the 50s down to below zero! Wear a warm baselayer or midlayer under it and you're super-toasty!

These two have the same amount of insulation (100 G Primaloft)- so there isn't going to be a big difference in warmth - they are both warm. The biggest difference is that the Plasma is taped and waterproof where the Optimus has some additional water resistance on the hood and shoulders, but is not waterproof. Both great jackets, but the choice will really depend on what you are going to use it for. Hope this helps
