I'm 6'-0" and weight 175. I live in So Cal and workout (crossfit mostly with 5k and 10k runs competatively) in the evenings so the temps in the winter are a little cooler. I've been hunting for men's tights for my daily crossfit workouts as well as my competitive runs. I do have some minor knee grinding issues that bother me from time to time on my runs, not bad, but not good. Temps in my area are 45f to 65f in the winter. Wondering 1. What size; 2. Will these tights work for crossfit style workouts, or are they mostly for running?; 3. What high temp are these tights ok to run in? 4. What should I use in the summer, the shorts?; 5. Are these tights designed to ware shorts over them or are they to be worn alone/bare?

Brent- My opinion is you get the CW-X Pro tight. IT's an excellent overall support tight that will be perfect for runs and for crossfit type workouts. You can wear a pair of gym shorts over the tights also if you like. If you have skinny legs and quads then go for a Medium. If you have strong or muscular quads and legs, go for the large. You can also look at the Pro short which is the short length of the pro tight. All the support is in the core, quads, hams, lower back. It's one of the best workout shorts on the market that has a patented support system. Especially for Crossfit, the Pro support system would work best. Good luck.
