it is listed at a length of 185, but does that mean it will fit a 185 armada JJ? with out to much work?

no they won't. I got it for my 184cm skis and I have to pull a bit hard to get them in.

Your skis might not fit into this bag. I have 177s and the bag only has an inch or so to spare.
